First Presbyterian Church, the site where we hold our FutureVision Middle School program, is hosting a “Loaves & Fishes Alternative Gift Market.”

Here is the press release:

First Presbyterian Church of Asheville will be hosting the annual “Loaves & Fishes Alternative Gift Market” on Sunday, December 5th from 12:15 – 2 p.m. at the Gardner Fellowship Hall, 40 Church Street, Asheville.  This event is co-sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church and Central United Methodist Church of Asheville.

“Loaves & Fishes” is an opportunity to purchase a gift that matters to those in need. When you make a purchase you will receive a holiday greeting card, envelope and gift insert that describes the type of donation and who it will benefit. Also available for sale at the market will be a number of handmade note cards from Guatemala that will directly benefit the local artisans.

Starting November 15 brochures will be available at all three churches and can also be downloaded at www.fpcasheville.org. Pre-orders will not be able to be filled until the day of the market. Orders placed after the market will be received until December 19th and filled by late afternoon of December 20. For more information please contact the First Presbyterian Church at 828-253-1431.
