After-Schoolers Learn About Africa

12 Apr

The kids in Group 4 and 5 of the YWCA After-School experienced their own African safari today. They were amazed by the different animals, especially the charging elephant, and were curious about the customs of some of the tribes. But, it was the horns of the Gemsbuck and the ostrich egg that really captivated them. Thanks to John Moody of EZ Africa and Hardy Holland, who worked as a volunteer with FutureVision last year, for bringing a taste of Africa to our School-Age program!
